When extreme pressure oil-based lubricants are formed at high temperatures, their performance decreases and they do not provide a physical mould protection diaphragm for extreme temperature applications. At the same time, IRMCO high temperature high solids polymer lubricants can provide the necessary protection. As the metal in the mould deforms and the temperature continues to rise, the EP oil-based lubricant will thin and sometimes reach its flash point or burn (smoke). When IRMCO polymer lubricants start to be sprayed, their consistency is usually much lower. As the temperature rises during the moulding process, it thickens and hardens. In fact, the polymeric extreme temperature lubricant has "heat-seeking properties" and adheres to the metal to form a diaphragm, thus reducing friction. This protective diaphragm allows the part to extend without fracture or adhesion during the forming process, thus controlling friction and metal flow. It effectively protects the forging die steel, extending its service life and improving the strength of the press. Usually under dry friction conditions, 635 die steel specimens and materials (such as austenitic steel) for constant speed double friction movement, the load at a certain speed gradually increase.
